Application

Clayboards for planking wood and metal stud constructions in interior areas. For interior walls and facing shells DIN 4103-1, installation area 1 or 2, for ceiling and roof surfaces. On surfaces of water impact class W0-I according to DIN 18534-1, e.g. in bathrooms (except shower areas) and domestic kitchens. For full-surface covering of wood-based panels and chipboard. With reinforcement layer substrate for YOSIMA Clay Designer Plaster or CLAYTEC Clay topcoat fine 06 with CLAYFIX Clay Paint.

Composition

Clay, clay, wood fibers, starch, jute mesh (one-sided reverse side).

Building material values

Surface hardness ≤ 15 mm, flexural strength ≥ 0.8 N/mm2, surface tensile strength ≥ 0.1 N/mm2. Bulk density class 1.6, bulk density approx. 1,550 kg/m3, thermal conductivity 0.353 W/mK, µ 5/10. Water vapor adsorption class WS III.
Heat storage: Cp 1.1 kJ/kgK, D22= 35.1 kJ/m2K, D16= 25.5 kJ/m2K. Building material class A1.

Clayboard Heavy (LEMIX) D22/D16

Drywall board made of clay for planking wooden and metal stud constructions of interior walls, facing shells, ceiling and roof surfaces. The clayboard heavy brings a lot of clay into the house, with all the positive effects for the indoor climate, especially in thermal terms. It can be cut with a hand-held circular saw. The clayboard D 22 allows a wide drywall substructure grid of 625 mm for walls. In addition to this product sheet, the ClayTec guide ecological drywall in the system applies.

Delivery form, coverage

Shrink-wrapped on pallets, 09.014 D 22 mm á 40 pcs, 09.015 D 16 mm á 60 pcs.

Storage

Dimensional accuracy class MHK II, W = 1,250 mm (± 4 mm), L = 625 mm (± 4 mm), D = 22 mm/D = 16 mm (+ 1, – 3 mm). Flatness – 1 mm.
D22: mass approx. 25 kg/board = approx. 32 kg/m2
D16: mass approx. 18 kg/board = approx. 23 kg/m2
